Kimi (Moonshot AI)
Matilda's replies and fact extraction are powered by Kimi models from Moonshot AI, accessed through their OpenAI-compatible API.
Getting a key
Create a key at platform.kimi.ai.

Any tool-calling Kimi model works for either role. Other models mentioned in the environment template include kimi-k3 and kimi-k2.7-code-highspeed.
Test
The Setup Test button sends a one-word completion to the reply model and reports the result.
Without a key
Matilda boots normally and responds to every message with a short "getting set up" notice. Add a key on Setup and she starts replying immediately.
